hi everybody,
i created the blog so that we could pour in our thoughts, stories, pix whatever into it, and be able to see it all at once, without having to go thru multiple emails. have kept it a team thing so that all of you could add whenever.
whenever i get time, i am going to put up excerpts from our emails up on the site too. if that's ok with you all.
now does devaki have an alternate id? my mails to her keep getting bounced. and who then is devani? or are they one & the same?
ann - i don't remember the clay project - but remember we had to build a famous mountain for a geography project . and we decided to do mt matterhorn, using papier mache by soaking newspapers in a huge bucket in my home. several of us would troop across since home was just across school. i do not remember who all were in the team but i do remember the stink and the great attention paid to getting the "horn" just right. don't know if this was the same project as yours or not.
premi thampy was lochinvar, was she not? and who was the fair damsel?
oh i remember the marching music very well - and as i found out later, it was all john philip sousa. even to this day the tunes play in my mind and a thrill runs down my back whenever i hear it and i get all weepy.. but we probably had this 1 lp which was faithfully replayed day after day year after year. may be they had copies of the same... oh and i have a picture of mother john somewhere.
by the way, have done a bit of experimenting - a job in progress - hope you will all enjoy it. please send me your class pic, each one of you - VD or VB or 2nd form with your name and an arrow pointing to your pic. this is important! hehehe
